Monument to uncle Kolya On September 17, residents of Tomsk unveiled a monument to traffic police inspector Nikolai Putintsev. On this day, in the center of Tomsk city residents to the sounds of a waltz from the film "Beware of the car" opened a monument to his countryman, popularly beloved traffic police inspector Nikolai Platonovich Putintsev. 
The ceremony was attended by Governor Sergei Zhvachkin, the author of the project sculptor Anton Gnedykh, as well as veterans and employees of internal Affairs, heads of the city and regional MIA and citizens. The audience honored the memory of the traffic police officer. The monument depicting the inspector of GAI in full growth, is established at intersection of Lenin Avenue with Nakhanovich's lane-in that place where Nikolay Putintsev served as sentry.
